Unlike many nonprofit boards, FCPA’s Board of Directors is an operating board. With no paid staff, we are actively involved in the management and conduct of FCPA’s day-to-day operations. 

The Board consists of up to 11 members who are voted into service by the general members. The roles of president, vice president, treasurer and secretary are formally designated via board vote and their duties are prescribed in the organizational bylaws. Other roles, such as volunteer coordinator and production manager, are assigned to willing members based on their skills and interests and the organization’s needs.

Our board members’ commitment to bringing arts experiences to the children of the Upstate, along with their creativity and energy, is the key to our success.
